Nova Bus turn signal indicator lights may remain solidly illuminated
Nova Bus is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses because a digital display firmware error may leave the instrument panel turn signal indicators solidly lit, failing FMVSS 108.

A digital display firmware error may cause the instrument panel indicator lights to remain solidly illuminated even when the turn signals are off. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." According to NHTSA, a faulty indicator light that cannot provide the driver with information about the status of the turn signals increases the risk of a crash.
Nova Bus will update the digital display firmware free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 7, 2025. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5732.
