Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling certain 2018 E 400 Cabriolet, E 400 Coupe, 2019 E 450 Cabriolet, and E 450 Coupe vehicles. The recall involves 165 vehicles in total.

The tires on these vehicles were incorrectly marked with the wrong maximum inflation pressure. As a result, the tires may not meet the strength requirements for the stated pressure, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139. If tires are inflated to an incorrect maximum pressure, they may have insufficient strength, allowing them to fail and increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 7, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
