As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

The defect can reduce braking performance and increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the air tank free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 24, 2024.
