Ram ProMaster ground connection may leave stability control inoperative
Chrysler is recalling certain 2021 Ram ProMaster vehicles because an insecure ground connection may render the electronic stability control inoperative, failing FMVSS 126.

An insecure ground connection may cause the electronic stability control system to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems." According to NHTSA, driving with an inoperative electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will tighten the ground nut assembly free of charge. The recall record states that all affected vehicles have been remedied.
