Kenworth trucks fitted with air tanks holding insufficient brake air

PACCAR is recalling certain 2009-2024 Kenworth trucks because the air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system, which can reduce braking performance.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: A defect that reduces braking performance across the air brake system is a structural vehicle defect, which the rubric places at Severe.
