Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 Shasta Oasis travel trailers. The side marker lights on these vehicles may not reflect light as intended, which can make it difficult for other drivers to see the trailer. This defect causes the trailers to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The non-reflective side marker lights can reduce the trailer's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 24, 2024.
Dealers will replace the marker lights free of charge. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-821-1311. Forest River's number for this recall is 53-1724.
