Plain-English summary
Ineos Automotive Americas, LLC is recalling certain 2023 and 2024 INEOS Grenadier vehicles. Non-locking nuts may have been mistakenly installed on the steering rod ball joint instead of the correct locking nuts.
If loose or missing nuts allow the steering rod ball joint to disconnect from the steering knuckle, drivers may experience loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash.
Dealers will install locking steering rod ball joint nuts at no cost to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 25, 2024.
