Plain-English summary
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 XLR Boost toy haulers. The taillights on these vehicles may be insufficiently reflective, causing them to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Taillights that do not reflect enough light reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will install reflector stickers on the affected vehicles free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 15, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-642-0432 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
