Plain-English summary
Subaru of America, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 Subaru Forester vehicles. The engine water pipe has attachment bolts that may be loose, which can cause the pipe to lose its seal and leak coolant.
When the water pipe loses its seal, coolant can leak and contact hot exhaust components. This creates a risk of fire in the engine compartment.
A total of 49 vehicles are affected by this recall. At the time of this recall notice, these vehicles had not been delivered to dealers or sold to owners. Owners should contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 for more information.
