Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2021-2023 DC Legend and 2016-2023 ACX Xpeditor vehicles. The parking brake warning light may illuminate incorrectly during an air loss event. This defect causes these vehicles to fail compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, which governs vehicle controls and displays.

A parking brake warning light that illuminates at the wrong time increases the risk of a crash. When the warning light is not functioning correctly, drivers may not be aware of actual parking brake status during critical moments.

The recall affects approximately 104 vehicles. Autocar has determined that a faulty pressure switch is responsible for the malfunction. Dealers will replace the pressure switch at no charge to owners.
