Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2021 Xpeditor and 2020-2021 Legend vehicles. The recall affects approximately 586 vehicles that contain a machining defect in the power steering pump.
A machining defect may cause the power steering pump to fail, resulting in loss of power steering assist. Loss of power steering assist increases the risk of a vehicle crash.
Affected owners were first notified on October 28, 2021. Autocar will inspect the power steering pump and replace it if necessary at no cost to owners.
