Vanleigh RV is recalling certain 2022 Vilano and Beacon travel trailers with electric retractable awnings. The awning fabric has a welded seam that can separate, allowing the awning to drop or extend beyond its normal operating position.
An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury to occupants and bystanders.
Affected owners should contact Vanleigh RV customer service at 1-662-612-4040 to schedule an inspection and replacement. Dealers will inspect the awning and replace it if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 18, 2022.
