Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022-2023 motorhomes, including the Geneva, Four Winds, Chateau, and Quantum models. The vehicles have electric retractable awnings with a welded seam on the fabric that may separate during normal operation.

When the welded seam separates, the awning can drop or extend beyond its normal operational range. This defect increases the risk of injury to occupants or bystanders.

Approximately 262 units are affected. Owners should contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867 to schedule a repair or replacement. Owner notification letters were mailed by September 16, 2022. Repairs and replacements will be provided free of charge by authorized dealers.
