Approximately 10,729 vehicles are affected by this recall. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 14, 2022.

Until the remedy is performed, Hyundai recommends that drivers use the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) when parking their vehicles. Hyundai dealers will perform a free software update to the Shifter Control Unit at no cost to owners.
