Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2021 AH125 aerial devices. The recall addresses a defect in the linear potentiometer used for boom positioning control. When operating the boom positioning control lever, this defective component may cause the boom to move in an unintended direction.
The unintended movement of the boom increases the risk of injury to operators or nearby individuals. Altec will inspect the linear potentiometer manufacturer date and replace the potentiometer if necessary, free of charge.
