Plain-English summary

The recall involves 19,149 vehicles where the seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early. This defect can prevent a child restraint system from securing properly, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
