The locking pin assembly in the sliding attendant seat may fail under certain loading conditions. This defect means the vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 207 (Seating Systems) and 210 (Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages). If the locking pin fails, the occupant may not be sufficiently restrained during a crash, which increases the risk of injury.
