Maintainer Recalls 2019-2020 International and Chevrolet Tow Vehicles for PTO Defect

Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. is recalling certain modified 2019-2020 International CV 515 and Chevrolet Silverado tow vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with Allison 2700 series transmissions and Chelsea Power Take Offs (PTO). The recall covers 16 affected units.
The defect involves PTOs that were installed incorrectly. As a result, the attachment hardware may loosen over time. If the hardware loosens, it could cause a loss of transmission fluid. This fluid loss may result in the rear wheel locking up, which increases the risk of a crash.
