Volvo VNL and VNR trucks may have loose steering gear fasteners

Volvo Trucks is recalling certain 2020 and 2021 VNL and VNR trucks because steering gear fasteners may not have been properly tightened. Loose fasteners could result in loss of vehicle control, increasing crash risk.

Owners should contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 800-528-6586 to schedule service. Authorized dealers will tighten the steering gear fasteners to specification at no charge. Volvo Trucks' recall reference number is RVXX2001.
