The recall involves Ametek gauges, part number 2101-NN1, which were sold as replacement parts for the Advanced Protection System (APS). These specific gauges are not a direct replacement for the original Pacific Insight gauges and may result in the APS not engaging.
If the Advanced Protection System is not engaged, there is an increased risk of occupant injury in the event of a crash. The recall began on November 23, 2020.
