Altec Recalls Aerial Devices Due to Winch Valve Defect

If the recovery winch attempts to lift more than it is rated for, it can increase the risk of an injury or death. Altec will notify owners and instruct them to inspect the winch pressures and install an external pressure relief valve, if necessary, free of charge.
