Eldorado National-Kansas is recalling certain 2015-2016 Goshen Impulse shuttle buses equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats. The recall involves 16 affected vehicles.
The defect occurs when the back seat cushion is rotated from the stowed position to the upright position. In this configuration, the seat cushion may not remain locked into place when under load, such as in a crash or a sudden stop. If the seat back moves during a crash, the seat occupant has an increased risk of injury.
Eldorado National-Kansas will notify owners, and Freedman will repair the foldaway seat free of charge. The recall began on April 3, 2019.
