The recall addresses rear cargo door hinges with welds on the hinge pin and hinge plate that may be insufficient. This condition could cause the hinge pin to separate from the hinge plate, leading the side of the door to shift. Consequently, springs may lift off the hinged end of the door, causing the top of the door to swing down with more force than normal, which increases the risk of personal injury.
