The recall applies to vehicles equipped with aerial devices. The affected vehicles may be improperly wired, which can result in the aerial boom moving unintentionally when hydraulic tools are being used.

Inadvertent boom movement can cause the platform to strike objects in the work area, increasing the risk of injury to the operator. The recall began on November 20, 2016.

Terex South Dakota will notify owners, and dealers will install a diode and alter the wiring to correct the issue free of charge. Owners may contact TSD customer service at 1-800-982-8975.
