PACCAR Recalls 2017 Peterbilt and Kenworth Trucks for Tire Defect

PACCAR Incorporated is recalling certain model year 2017 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks manufactured between February 2, 2016, and October 13, 2016. The affected vehicles are equipped with specific Goodyear LHS Load Range G tires, size 295/75R22.5 G399A. Due to incomplete adhesion, the tire tread on these tires may partially separate.
A partial tread separation may increase the risk of a crash. The recall began on December 14, 2016. Goodyear will notify owners of the affected vehicles, and Goodyear dealers will replace the affected tires free of charge.
