Morgan Olson Corporation is recalling certain model year 2014 Service Body trucks built on Sprinter cab chassis. These vehicles were manufactured between April 11, 2014, and December 18, 2014. The recall involves 11 affected units.
The affected vehicles may have rear identification lamps mounted below the doors and license plate illumination lamps mounted incorrectly. This configuration may result in incomplete illumination of the license plate and reduced visibility, which increases the risk of a vehicle crash. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 regarding lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.
Morgan Olson will notify owners, and dealers will modify the trucks to add rear identification lights above the door and remount the license plate lamp free of charge.
