The recall addresses a defect in the fuel system where the hose clamp securing the fuel tank vent line may not have been properly tightened during assembly.

A loose hose clamp could allow the fuel tank vent line to detach, resulting in a fuel leak. This condition increases the risk of a fire. The recall began on February 6, 2015.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the fuel tank vent line hose clamp as necessary, free of charge.
