Porsche Cars North America, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2015 Macan vehicles manufactured between March 6, 2014, and April 26, 2014. The recall addresses a defect where the brake booster may have been damaged during the installation process at the factory.

If the brake booster was damaged during installation, the vacuum within the booster may drop when the brakes are actuated. This condition results in reduced brake force boost, which increases the risk of a crash. The recall began on December 29, 2014.
