Collins Bus Corporation is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 DH500, DH516, DH516WR, DE500, and DE516WR school buses manufactured between May 18, 2012, and May 30, 2014. The recall covers 374 vehicles in total.
In the affected vehicles, the propane fuel line may rub on the third body mount bolt on the left rear of the frame rail. This friction can damage the fuel line, leading to a propane leak. A leak may cause the vehicle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a propane leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
