Wheeled Coach Industries, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2010 M2, 2013-2014 T1, T2, and T3, and 2014 Terrastar ambulances. These vehicles are equipped with an ECX Timer (part number EL00230) manufactured by ECX Electronics Corporation. The recall affects 84 units.

The ECX timer may experience a momentary loss of power when starting the vehicle. This loss of power may cause the timer to begin a five-minute countdown, after which it disconnects power to the electrical systems in the patient area of the vehicle. This malfunction increases the risk of injury to the occupants.
