Villa International is recalling certain Villa ISS GSK driver and passenger seats. These seats were installed in model year 2013 Tiffin Allegro Bus motorhomes and model year 2014 American Coach American Tradition, Eagle, and Revolution motorhomes. The recall affects a total of 416 vehicles.
The seat belt attachment may be incorrect, causing the seat belt to rub against a steel bracket in the seat. This friction can cause the seat belt to fray, reducing its strength. Consequently, these seats do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies." If the seat belt fails to properly restrain the occupant during a crash, the risk of injury increases.
