Tiffin Motorhomes Recall: Sofa Seat Belts May Be Improperly Installed
Tiffin Motorhomes is recalling certain 2018–2022 recreational vehicles with sofa seat belts that may not be correctly installed. Unsecured passengers face increased injury risk in a crash.

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. is recalling certain 2018–2022 recreational vehicles, including the Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and Zephyr models. The sofa seat belts in these vehicles may not have been installed correctly, resulting in unsecured passengers. This defect fails to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210, Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages.
Unsecured passengers have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash. Approximately 10,409 vehicles are affected.
Owners should contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661 to arrange repairs. Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 29, 2021. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
