Tiffin Motorhomes Recalls GT1, GH1, and GH2 Models for Labeling Error

Tiffin is recalling 2025-2026 GT1, GH1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes because incorrect seat belt labels may lead to unbelted passengers.

What this means for you

Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Our severity reasoning: The recall is for a labeling error that creates a risk of injury in a crash, but no injuries or deaths have been reported, fitting the criteria for a moderate severity voluntary recall.

Plain-English summary

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. is recalling certain 2025-2026 GT1 and GH1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes. The recall involves 340 vehicles where the Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label states an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions.

This labeling error can result in unbelted passengers, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110. Unbelted passengers may not be properly restrained in a crash, which increases their risk of injury.

Tiffin will mail corrected labels to owners free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-147. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 15, 2026.
