The affected vehicles were manufactured between November 14, 2006, and January 18, 2011.
The recall addresses a defect in the electric auxiliary water pump that cools the turbocharger. The pump contains an electronic circuit board that can malfunction and overheat. If this occurs, the circuit board may smolder, which could result in a vehicle fire.
