The recall addresses defective lock nuts and bolts that attach the air ride suspension hangers to the trailer. This defect may result in a loss of fastener torque, allowing the suspension hangers to become loose.
The suspension components could detach from the trailer, resulting in a loss of control and a crash. The safety recall began on August 8, 2011.
Great Dane will replace all defective suspension nuts and bolts free of charge. Owners may contact Great Dane Customer Service at 1-877-369-3493.
