These light sets were sold between 1994 and 1997 in various states, including Puerto Rico, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas, California, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

The recall is due to fire hazards caused by flammable plastic parts, bulb sockets that can fall apart, lack of fuse protection, exposed bare wires, and undersized wires. CPSC has received one report of a bulb socket falling apart and exposing bare wires, but no injuries have been reported. The light sets may be multicolored or clear and lack identifying markings.
