Achim Recalls Flammable Oval Braided Rugs Sold at Walmart and Others

The products were manufactured in China and feature multi-color braids in shades such as Wedgwood blue, burgundy, hunter green, gray, and tan.

CPSC and Achim are not aware of any injuries involving these rugs, but the recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of burn injuries from readily ignitable materials. Consumers should stop using the large rugs immediately and remove all rugs from areas close to sources of ignition, such as fireplaces and stoves. Consumers may return the entire set or individual small rugs to the store of purchase for a full refund, or keep the small rugs and obtain appropriate caution labels from Achim by calling (800) 542-2446.
