Authorized Shindaiwa dealers nationwide sold these tools from April 1992 to June 1995. The backpack blowers sold for approximately $430 each, and the chain saws for approximately $300 each. Consumers who own the recalled products should stop using them immediately and return them to any authorized Shindaiwa servicing dealer to have a redesigned fuel tank fitted at no charge.
