The recall is due to a choking and aspiration hazard. CPSC testing revealed that the toy nipples may separate from the bases of the holders. Additionally, the small caps packaged with the toy bottles pose a choking and aspiration hazard to children under three years of age. The company and CPSC are not aware of any injuries involving this product.

The Evenflo Mini Nursers were sold nationwide at various retail stores for $1.00 to $2.00 each from the mid-1980s through December 1991. Consumers should immediately take the nursers away from children under three years of age. If purchased after January 1, 1990, consumers should return the items postage pre-paid to Chilton-Globe, Inc. at 820 Buffalo Street, Manitowoc, WI 54221 for a full refund.
