The potentially hazardous toy was identified at the Port of Chicago, IL, during a joint CPSC/U.S. Customs surveillance program. Neither CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving this product.

The bottles were sold nationwide at craft stores from January 1982 through January 1992 for a retail price of $1.00 each.
