Kmart Corporation is voluntarily recalling approximately 13,380 Baby Mirror Rattles and approximately 23,900 Baby Wheel Rattles. These products were sold at Kmart stores nationwide since November 1987 and October 1987, respectively. The recall specifically targets the "man with a hat" style of the Baby Mirror Rattle and the "snail" style of the Baby Wheel Rattle.

The recalled Baby Mirror Rattle may present a potential choking and/or suffocation hazard if it becomes lodged in an infant's throat. The recalled Baby Wheel Rattle has an antenna that may break off, posing a potential ingestion, choking, and/or suffocation hazard to children under three years of age. No injuries have been reported to the company or the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Parents should immediately take the affected toys away from young children. Consumers can return the products to any Kmart store for a refund of the full purchase price.
