The bears are identified by a label on the bottom stating "Made in Korea for the C.M. Paula Company, Cincinnati, Ohio." They feature red plastic and fabric flowers attached to wire stems and a red ribbon on the torso, sometimes with a paper tag containing a message.

The bears present choking and laceration or puncture hazards. During use and abuse testing, the small flower parts detached, exposing the sharp ends of the wire stems. CPSC is not aware of any injuries involving these bears. Approximately 15,000 to 20,000 of these bears are distributed nationwide annually, selling for approximately $8.00.
