Independent discount and 50-Off stores sold the bears nationwide from July 1996 through December 1996 for about $13. CPSC is not aware of any injuries involving these toys, and the recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injury. Consumers should take the bears away from young children immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund or a replacement toy.
