Bilt-Rite Juvenile Products, Inc. and Century Products, Inc. recalled shoulder harness restraining devices used on approximately 200,000 strollers. The affected models include the Century "Way-to-Go" (models 11-140, 11-141, 11-143), Century "Way-to-Go" II (models 11-151, 11-152, 11-155), Bilt-Rite "Fold 'N GO" (model 11-130), and Bilt-Rite "Way-to-Go" II (models 11-150, 11-152, 1000). Strollers equipped only with waist and crotch straps are not affected.
The recall was issued because consumers reported that children's necks could become dangerously entangled in the shoulder harness. This hazard could occur when the child's activities are not visible to the person pushing the stroller, potentially resulting in serious injury.
