Huk-A-Poo Sportswear, Inc. is recalling certain women's sweatshirts in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The garments, which were imported from a Hong Kong manufacturer, may not have met federal flammability standards. The recall affects long-sleeved, 100 percent napped cotton sweatshirts distributed to retailers between July 1976 and September 1977. It is estimated that 30,000 garments were sold nationwide.

The affected garments can be identified by the number RN34104 and the words "Made in Hong Kong" on the label. Additionally, the style numbers 502, 506, 507, 509, 619, 620, 621, 623, and 624 appeared on the garment's hang tags. To date, no consumer injuries have been reported.
