MPINOI adult portable bed rails pose entrapment and asphyxiation hazard

MPINOI adult portable bed rails are being recalled because users can become entrapped within the rail or between the rail and mattress, and the rails lack the required hazard warning labels.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 3 covers risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported: the rails fail a mandatory entrapment standard, and the source states no injuries or incidents have been reported for this product.

Plain-English summary

This recall involves MPINOI-branded adult portable bed rails made by Guangzhou Aoran Trading Co., Ltd., trading as Bioenrrty, of China. The white metal bed rails measure about 15 inches wide by 26 inches tall with an extendable handle, grey padding and a black storage mesh pocket printed "MPINOI". About 200 units were sold online at Amazon.com from December 2025 through February 2026 for about $30.

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because users can become entrapped within the bed rail, or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. The bed rails also do not bear the required hazard warning labels. No injuries or incidents have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the recalled bed rails immediately and contact Bioenrrty for a full refund.

Consumers will be asked to destroy the rails by cutting the black safety strap in half, write "RECALLED" on the upper and lower rails, and email a photo to [email protected].
