Colombia-themed Magnetic Board Games Recalled for Magnet Ingestion Hazard to Children

Plain-English summary
This recall involves approximately 1,200 Colombia-themed magnetic board games distributed by Surveying Accessories Cheaper in Miami, Florida. The affected games were sold through Centro Envíos Aventura in Miami, Florida, and online via Amazon.com between April 2023 and June 2025 for $20 to $50. The games consist of a two-sided board with storage bag, 32 multi-colored magnetic pieces, two dice with storage pouch, and included a piece of chocolate. The recall applies only to four-player and six-player versions of these games.
The games violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the magnetic game pieces contain loose high-powered magnets. These magnets pose an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and blockage of the intestines, as well as blood poisoning and potentially death.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers should immediately stop using these magnetic board games and keep them away from children. To return the recalled games, contact Surveying Accessories Cheaper at 305-336-6042 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday) or email [email protected]. A pre-paid shipping label will be provided, and consumers will receive a full refund in their original form of payment or by check.
