The recall is due to a violation of the mandatory standard for toys. The magnetic toys can liberate loose high-powered magnets, creating an ingestion hazard for children. If swallowed, these magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in intestinal perforations, twisting, blockages, blood poisoning, and death. CPSC and the firm are aware of two reports involving children who removed and ingested magnets from the limbs, with both incidents resulting in hospitalization.

Consumers should immediately take the magnetic humanoid toys away from children and stop using them. To obtain a full refund, consumers should contact Colerinsec by email at [email protected]. Consumers will be asked to throw away the magnetic toys and submit a photo of the disposed toys to the provided email address.
