The bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because when attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This entrapment poses a serious hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation.
Approximately 5,000 units were sold online through Amazon.com from April 2025 through October 2025, priced between $50 and $80. The recalled models include: model 2512 (about 11 inches wide, 39 inches high); model 2513 (about 12 inches wide, 42 inches high); and model 2516 (about 37 inches wide, 45 inches high). The bed rails have white tubing with rounded gray foam rubber handle grips, and some models include a gray fabric pouch, support legs, and a motion-sensor light. One consumer reported a fall involving the recalled bed rail.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails. Agrish Direct is offering a full refund.
