They were sold with a silver top rail with silver support columns, blue accents and a red handle button, and with a faux wood top rail with silver support columns in a wave design, white accents and a red handle button, measuring about 37 inches wide.
The bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. When attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. The rails also do not carry the required warning labels. The CPSC notice states that no injuries or incidents have been reported.
About 3,294 units were sold on Amazon from August 2023 through March 2025 for between $55 and $65.
Consumers should immediately stop using the rails and contact Neaude for a full refund, writing "RECALLED" on the upper and lower rails and emailing a photo alongside a note reading "Bought on or after August 21, 2023" to [email protected].
